§ 37975. Streets not to be closed to vehicular traffic; exceptions


No street shall be closed to vehicular traffic, except upon order of the Department of Streets and Public Improvements, or, by order of the mayor, the police or the fire marshal, in cases of emergency, wherein the safety of the publc would be endangered, nor shall any such street be closed for a longer period than is necessary for the purpose for which such order is issued.
